객체인식 AI(YOLO v5), 토마토, 돌 등, 웹캠, 실시간 객체 감지 및 프로젝션, 2022

이 프로젝트는 인공지능의 객체 인식 기술을 엉뚱하게 전유한다. 여기에서 사용된 객체 인식 기술은 군사 기술임과 동시에 안전과 감시의 기술이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 군사 기지이자 스마트 시티로의 탈바꿈을 약속하고 있는 이 지역의 현재와 미래를 연결짓는 기술이기도 하다. 이 기술을 교란하기 위해 군사 지역의 돌과 스마트시티 개발지의 토마토가 초대된다. 토마토 소스가 뿌려진 사물들은 객체 인식 기술의 시각적 한계로 인해 그것들을 글로벌화 된 음식으로 인식한다.

This project is utilizing computer vision technology in a whimsical way. The object recognition technology used here can be considered both a military technology and the technology of safety and surveillance. Therefore it is also a technology that connects the current and future of this region(Suwon Air Force Base), which promises the transition from a military base to a smart city. To disrupt this technology, stones from the military site and tomatoes from the smart city development site are invited. The objects spread with tomato sauce are recognized as globalized food due to the visual limits of object recognition technology.
